Summer Harvest Picnic at Firestone Vineyards

SYED has been featured in Style Me Pretty Living! Head over and take a closer look at our lovely summer harvest photo shoot at Firestone Vineyards. We absolutely loved the warm, rustic feel of the wooden lanterns and aged finials combined with the gorgeous anemones, ranunculus, and peonies! Firestone Crossroads Estate provided the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous picnic. It was such a pleasure teaming up with Brian Leahy Photography, Rani Hoover, and all of the amazing vendors that partook in this shoot!

Radiant Wedding at Bel Air Bay Club

Bright colors and bright skies were the ultimate themes for this wonderful wedding at the Bel Air Bay Club this May.  Colors of magentas and oranges filled the out door ceremony site as we produced a rounded top Mandap fully covered with florals.  Gorgeous photos from Joe Photo!!  Gracious thanks to Planning Elegance for such an awesome event!!!

Real Wedding, Vidhya and Puneet

Modern, sophisticated and fun describes not only the chosen decor for Vidhya and Puneet's June wedding at 7 Degrees in Laguna Beach but also this amazing couple.  Cohesively working with the venue, a simple yet beautiful and contemporary  design detailed the tablescapes. SYED Featured on Ambrose Weddings Blog

We were so delighted to meet Kristine from Ambrose Weddings at a recent Wedding Store 24 bridal show.  An intimate show located at the Double Tree in San Pedro, vendors and brides were able to mingle and enjoy a beautiful, sunny California day! As the show began Kristine approached us immediately and we had an instant bond!!! Her recent blog combined tips and personal advice from vendors from different industry back grounds.  SYED design team member Shaynee and I commented specifically on advise for coming up with ideas for decor and were quoted in her blog.  Check it out!!

Unique Couples Advice, Wedding Store 24 Bridal Show

Kristine also provided some great images from that day!  Our design for the show included a 8' tall centerpiece with crystals and orchid garlands pouring down capturing  a sparkling and colorful waterfall effect.  Towards the bottom of the designs, various platforms, lanterns and vessels accented the table scape.  An abundant amount of candle light provided that special glow to the design.

Inspiration: Organic Citrus

For this couple, we used the palette of yellow, deep orange, white and brown. Yellow was carried into the design by way of the bridesmaid dresses and further placed into the floral selections. The evnet was held at an Italian restaurant and the couple wanted to have somewhat of a Tuscany feel. We selected the Shimmer crush orange satin linen with coordinating chair sashes. Carafes of wine were placed at each table for the guests to enjoy anytime they got thirsty!

The flowers selected for this wedding included cymbidium orchids, hydrangea, and roses. One of my favorite flowers to use for a yellow flower is the cymbidium orchid as it is so truely yellow and always vibrant.

Shawna Yamamoto used a textured, rich satin ribbon to wrap around the handle. The ribbon is embellished with small jewels in copper to accent the colors and not create a fussy handle. We love our handles and always try to make them extra special for our bride and her maids!
