Shawna Yamamoto Event Design: Shawna Yamamoto {Event Designer} + Thomas Bui {Event Stylist} = Brilliance!!

When the phone rang and it was Thomas Bui, of Thomas Bui Lifestyle, asking us to collaborate on a momentous occasion for him and his family we were thrilled!! Thomas and his family was to plan a show stopping tribute party for their parents. They were celebrating their parents anniversary and their Father's 80th Birthday!

Thomas wanted the decor to be unique, lush, and gorgeous! Months of working together bouncing ideas off one another, Shawna and Thomas had the designs they were both sure would be brilliant! Below is an image from Friday night, the welcome dinner the night before the extraordinary party. Just a hint as to what was to come! This dinner was hosted at the magnificent Bombay in Hillcrest, San Diego. The Indian food and drink flowed and the ambiance was hopping. A great way to get guests in the mood for the outstanding party that was to follow!
